The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Geology and Mineral Resources (State Committee for Geology) was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 12, 1991 No. UP-142 and operates in accordance with the "Regulations on the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Geology and Mineral Resources", approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic Uzbekistan dated 27.04.2018 No. 315.
